Film Expo @ College of Art and Design

I walked away disappointed at most of the works that were shown. Most films were out of this world (literally), in a negative perspective though. Makes me wonder what actually people think about during their lives. How can you call when a scientist dies an unicorn is born intriguing?? However, a construction crane demolishing a house is more visually engaging than expected. Almost looks like an animal eating away because of its starvation. Yet, a baby being pushed back into its mother's wound, to me is not art but rather disturbing in so many levels. The still art was clever, but boring. It was an experience, but I couldn't wait until it ended. Sometimes the truth hurts.
