Agency

Agency is defined as "the satisfying power to take meaningful action and see the results of our decisions and choices." This involves the participation of the audience, or in better terms an 'interactor.' The idea of encorporating the viewer into a piece of work itself seems to be the new wave of modern technology. I have to say I am a fan. I wouldn't mind being part of a new innovative notion in interactivity.Essentially, this generation seems to have a shorter attention span, or at least I do. However, the real question is: can a piece of art be successful without the involvement of an interactor?
